The #party was on. I had to setup my equipment early to do a prior commitment. When I arrived, i introduced myself asked what kind of music that I needed to play because I wasn’t given any info. Obviously the music tastes they had were something I wasn’t prepared for. It happens every once in awhile. So I played some mixes from Budda Bar as requested, and dinner music from Gypsy Kings. Took them awhile to sit down .I did some latin and some current pop after that . Not sure the clients knew what kind of music so they wanted and they weren’t able to verbalize it. I played an extra half hour.
